A UK-trained accountant, Mark spent the majority of his career in senior-level finance positions in highly acquisitive groups in the aviation industry before joining EarlyShares in 2012. He has extensive expertise working with start-up companies on financial and operational projects and has expertise in mergers and acquisitions. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Florida.
Jonatan Alava is Chief Technology Officer for EarlyShares. An experienced manager and entrepreneur with more than ten years of experience delivering software products to large enterprises, Jonatan joined EarlyShares in December 2013. He previously served in key IT management roles for TracFone Wireless, Inc., a subsidiary of America Movil. He is published researcher in the field of Software Testing,and has an MSc in Computer Science from Florida International University.

Stephen Temes is Co-Founder and Chairman of EarlyShares and a highly successful entrepreneur and trader with over 25 years of experience in the equity and option markets. An expert on raising and investing capital, Stephen is Founder and Managing Member of Lincoln Capital LLC, a hedge fund, and Lincoln Partners Group LLC, a venture capital fund.

Stephen Cornick is the Managing Partner of Cornick Capital Ventures, a software development company and early-stage investment and advisory firm. Previously, he spent the bulk of the last 20+ years as an investor in the financial and asset management business. Most recently, he was Director of Research and Managing Principal (2003-2010) for Halcyon Asset Management, a multi-strategy asset management firm, but he has also served in key roles for the Credit Suisse First Boston Special Situations Fund, Dickstein Partners, and the Gansett Fund LP. In addition, Mr. Cornick has extensive expertise in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and corporate finance including mergers and acquisitions. He received his B.A. from Connecticut College.
